So…. That happened.
If you don’t live under a rock or you’re in that small pocket of people that follow me, then you probably heard that I was on Timcast IRL just last night. Things apparently went well considering even the trolls weren’t as hard on me. Kind of funny considering that I’ve always counted myself as a member of the Salty Army. To know your people accept you is a GREAT feeling.
That being said, the crew that you see on camera is only a small part of the great team at the Cast Castle and its the offscreen crew that really make the whole operation work to a T. They’re great honestly, I spent so much time down stairs chatting it up with those guys. (Sorry, bad about names.) They each bring their own unique flair to the organization and one of the most amazing phenomena is that in assembling that team, they’ve somehow captured that “Grassroots” company feel.
We shot hoops on the half-pipe, played some amazing games on the arcade, I got a personal lesson in juggling from Tim, of which I won’t be a savant at any time soon, and I of course we shot the show and the private show. It all was what you would expect from a cool set of people like that. Lyds was amazing in giving cues to keep the show on the tracks, Tim carries the whole show normally and makes it possible to not feel like you have to basically be the star as he sets the table for each topic expertly. Ian is really the wildcard because when you’re talking, he looks as if he is trying to dissect exactly what you’re saying and you can definitely feel he’s trying to get an understanding of things. He gets a bad wrap sometimes because he doesn’t word what he says 100% the best, but dude is definitely a cool guy.
There is a great chemistry about the show and it honestly is no surprise why they’ve become such a hit with no noticeable drop in quality despite such massive output. As I said on a video, if you had to invest or buy stock in Timcast the company, you’d be getting a blue-chip product because the sky is the limit.
