Is the US headed towards a nuclear war?
That is something that I think we need to discuss but at the same time while we broach that topic, I do not believe that we need to ignore the domestic war that we currently face.
War is interesting in that it can take many different forms. It's almost a rarity these days that we see kinetic hot wars take place on national soil. Even the actions that we see overseas tend to be very much in the form of skirmishes against local militias and forces that have limited to no organization. The skirmishes are usually stochastic and intermittent. Nowadays it is more common to see the lower resource as well as lower collateral information warfare take place as a part of this move towards a 4D infrastructure for how we deal with opposition. The beauty of this form of warfare is that it is waged not with expendable resources like guns and ammunition which require maintenance and manufacture, but with computers, people, and a skill called “Social Hacking”
The reality is that even with the simple social media tools that we have today it would be incredibly easy to use them to organize people unknowingly to attack the Web presence of a person or brand. Just as we can see daily on services like Twitter, where people are being directed to charities or new products, this group mentality could potentially be used as in the CNN story to cause damage. Why use things like botnets when you can just as easily obtain the same results by using social media - and it’s legal to boot.
Never Mind Social Media, How About Social Hacking?
This can take the form of influence campaigns, applying political pressure to certain soft targets, as well as being able to throw money at efforts to subvert a hierarchy. That's the nature of conflict today.
In knowing this, it should come as no surprise that given all that we know about how this administration and how the Obama administration operated and that we have been dealing with the sprouting seeds of a long-sewn informational attack.
What they should have done is bombard Obama with rotten fruit or ripped him with raspberries for his hypocrisy.
How do we hate Obama’s treatment of the press? Let me count the ways. Under his administration, the U.S. government has set a new record for withholding Freedom of Information Act requests, according to a recent Associated Press investigation. FOIA gives the public and press an irreplaceable view into the workings of the executive branch. Without timely release of government documents and data, vital questions can’t be answered, and stories can’t be written.
Obama’s “Insider Threat Program” has turned employees across the government—from the Peace Corps to the Social Security Administration to the Department of Agriculture—into information-squelching snitches. If this isn’t Trumpian behavior, I don’t know what is.
If you were on Twitter yesterday October 31st 2022, then you were able to see the DHS leaks hashtag which went into the details of an elaborate plan by the Biden administration (And many holdovers from prior administrations embedded in the deepstate infrastructure) to start applying pressure/coordinate with the heads of social media companies to begin limiting what could be said as well as controlling discourse on specific narratives that may undermine administration agendas such as controlling the narrative on COVID policy, election interference narratives, as well as topics revolving around the Afghanistan withdrawal. Many of these would be considered misgivings in this current administration's approach to policy but they had also planned to expand this to topics of economics, as well as Ukraine and taxpayer questions on the money being sent. So, it seems like they have been trying to preempt this for a long time.
In 2019, DHS created a separate entity called the Foreign Influence and Interference Branch to generate more detailed intelligence about disinformation, the inspector general report shows. That year, its staff grew to include 15 full- and part-time staff dedicated to disinformation analysis. In 2020, the disinformation focus expanded to include Covid-19, according to a Homeland Threat Assessment issued by Acting Secretary Chad Wolf.
This apparatus had a dry run during the 2020 election, when CISA began working with other members of the U.S. intelligence community. Office of Intelligence and Analysis personnel attended “weekly teleconferences to coordinate Intelligence Community activities to counter election-related disinformation.” According to the IG report, meetings have continued to take place every two weeks since the elections.
Emails between DHS officials, Twitter, and the Center for Internet Security outline the process for such takedown requests during the period leading up to November 2020. Meeting notes show that the tech platforms would be called upon to “process reports and provide timely responses, to include the removal of reported misinformation from the platform where possible.” In practice, this often-meant state election officials sent examples of potential forms of disinformation to CISA, which would then forward them on to social media companies for a response.
That begs the question, what exactly would warfare on a civilian population look like if it were to be conducted by a so-called sophisticated government like our own. I think you already know the answer given the information I’ve prefaced this question with, but nonetheless, lets entertain it for rhetorical purposes.
Would you ever see Marines being called in to March into conservative or left leaning areas for that matter and cull the herd?
Would it come in the form of curfews, no go zones, and MP rule? I think that all of those are two archaic in conjure up imagery of World War II occupied Poland, and other areas that were up for contention, a salient memory in the minds of many Americans as that’s about the only period taught in modern day history classes. So, I do not believe that our government would ever attempt such a thing. (At least not without sufficient optics to do so.)
Instead, what I believe war declared on the citizenry would look like is much of what we have seen hinted at within the DHS leaks where you have a concerted effort to essentially ostracize and silence citizens who are speaking of a certain matter in a light that runs contrary to what the administration would want, done through “disinformation” labels, bans, and algorithmic throttling. We have actually seen dissidents already be added to FBI watch lists, caution messages from governmental bodies to be wary and report individuals who express the sin of questioning the government, as well as outright calls for violence and/or action against people who run a foul the approved narratives.
That sounds like a covert war effort to me that's carried out by citizens against citizens thereby absolving the government of direct correlation to the actions. I believe a marginally sophisticated government in terms of strategy and approach will always look to throw a rock and hide its hand. This means they will do so by means of indirect coercion, where they are not the ones enacting the penalty but private industry is at the behest of the governmental body.
Washington warned about this in his farewell address, and we did not listen. Our government is playing dirty games where they take advantage of the football-esque nature of our political system. Believe it or not we have already seen large swaps of civil unrest, stochastic terrorism, and killings done in service to a political ideology or one that stems from the dictates of certain political figures. BLM riots, riots at courthouses, politicians being swatted, supreme Court justices having their homes vandalized and turned into areas of protest in order to influence The Judiciary through means of intimidation. If we are to believe what is said by the left that "words are violence" then that means that mass assembly and repeated words and threats outside of one's private residence is outright warfare. This is what you have and the lack of accountability that government officials take for actually inciting this directly shows you that it is intentional. For any good-natured person who has any remnant of a conscience with understand how they may be culpable if they had a direct call to action using inflammatory language which then results in events that disturb the peace of high-profile targets within the group that they're original words centered around.
To take it a step further they not only refuse to apologize or take responsibility, but they projected onto their opposition (conservatives) whose words tend to be far tamer and more subdued and do not directly call for action. Nonetheless, this works perfectly when you're conducting covert terrorism as one side will always think they're taking the high road yet losing ground while the others who take the lower pathway to power gain ground as more conservatives are intimidated into silence and inaction which already coincides with the passive nature of conservative politics as a whole. So, the question of the matter becomes, what do we do?
Unfortunately, we find ourselves in a hard position as passivity often allows for resentment and anger to simmer beneath the tight lid that has held it at bay meaning that when that pressure reaches a peak, it bursts with explosive results. This is exactly what the establishment which has parasitized the left wants. They want more January 6th events. They want conservatives to be bullied into a corner to where they have no choice except for lashing out violently in order to free themselves from the corner. This is because as conservatives retaliate, the establishment uses its massive cache of influence and allies within the media to film the action from a different angle to make it as though conservatives are the aggressor. Ergo, an informational war tactic. This is when they can then start to seize more ground as the blunt force stochastic acts of terror that their ideological foot soldiers enact are never severe enough to draw media attention or mass ire but the oppositional response to that typically is.
Do you see the dirty games being played yet?
There is a solution but at the same time it will take some finesse as well as changing the culture and discourse in order to pull off. We can no longer exist on the left vs. right Continuum.
I get it, on the left there are very radical communists and people who typically do not identify with conservative culture, nor do they have any sort of interest in having a common discourse and sharing localities with us. But if we can at some point create a delineation between the populace and the elites who have a vested interest in keeping us fighting and benefiting off of the raw b-roll footage we provide as a result of our blood that is shed, then we may have an opportunity to reset the domestic Doomsday clock.
Elon Musk taking over Twitter may perhaps be one of the most pivotal turning points that we have in order to accomplish this goal (as it removes a lot of deplatforming and algorithmic manipulation that hides our messaging) but if we squander it by engaging in petty culture war nonsense and losing sight of the real enemy while we continually bicker back and forth for owns, and “gotcha” moments, we will never get our country back or have a chance to restore things.
Until we can realize what we must do as a country to end this death-spiral cycle, we will just continue to battle it out with our neighbors, using the eye for an eye mentality until we are poking at empty eye sockets still looking to do damage to fellow victims of the propaganda that we seek to liberate others from. It's a multi front war and we have not even begun to engage the real enemy behind those who are acting as proxy for them.
That being said, take the first step and get out on November the 8th 2022 and vote like your country depends on it because this will be the last chance that we have.
