So I went on a bit of a tirade on Twitter earlier today and I wanted to take the opportunity to expound upon it a bit more and really reason out my thoughts.
The Alex Jones verdict and ruling is a scary thing for us all because right now they’ve found a way to essentially bypass our protections of “Freedom of Speech” at a time where we may be called to speak out against some government attempt to pull us into conflict. The implications of them being able to, regardless of his income, attach an egregious monetary punishment is absolutely earth shattering.
I’m still not sure of how we’re going to get out of this one but one thing I do know:
They’re absolutely terrified.
That’s a good thing and a bad thing.
The good thing is that it means we’re on the winning path.
The bad thing is that a scared and cornered animal is also the most dangerous.
We would be wise to understand and heed this.
